Colombia is the country with the biggest bird biodiversity in the world?.
well, we are proud of it and it means responsibility in our crop ecosystems, For this reason we try to guarantee deferents levels of trees around our coffee fields and since 1910 our family begin a protection plan for the mature forest around the farm. We protect this ecosystem as a sanctuary. We also protect native fruits around our fields the essential food for the birds.
We want to be sure, our and yours sons will have the opportunity to be in this paradise for this reason we understand the run off is our enemy and contribute to global warming. So we implemented a soil protection strategy to decrease the run off rate. Currently we grow with a dense cover of the soil, trees and barriers to stop the preserve the soil. We can see the results in the creeks which are down the crops each time are clearer.

The coffee process demand water to wash the bean. We take care of water, it is why we use a process that only use 10% of traditional process and implemented a residual treatment for the water after process.
However it is not our only plan. We are planting more trees and protecting the creeks and the birth of those.
We are aware people is a route to improve our planet, We implemented a program when our associates take classes periodically about common interest and conservation.
We are proud of our coffee cultural landscape of Colombia. It was achieved recovering our traditions, we want to preserve our culture in this way we annually make a traditional day, when we cultivate our traditions through games and conservation programs.
We don't only want to keep away the conflict Colombia lived over 50 years, we want to be part of solution and we believe the base is work for our people, for us! its begin with education and opportunities. For this reason we work to guarantee education for our associates families and good living conditions.
